The Williamson card will be available to order until Monday at paniniamerica.net and is the first of many special Pelicans cards that will be available through the Panini Instant platform during the 2019-20 NBA season, celebrating key Pelicans performances. The Pelicans also will be featured in all of Panini America’s exclusively licensed NBA trading card products and in the company’s NBA Dunk Digital Trading Card App – where fans can collect and interact with digital trading cards in various in app events.

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans announced today the design for the first ever Pelicans co-branded debit card. The new co-branded debit card, available today, features popular Pelicans imagery and logos. Fans can choose from four debit card designs, with previews of card designs at www.BeOnPath.org/pelsperks.

Formerly ASI Federal Credit Union, OnPath FCU underwent rebranding to better convey the organization’s goal to financially empower the community and provide (as the tagline mentions): Banking with direction. NEW ORLEANS – During the Pelicans match-up against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, March 12, the New Orleans Pelicans and Unblockable Inc., launched HotStreak, a real-time sports prediction game on iOS. The app allowed fans the opportunity to compete for prizes by predicting player specific in-game occurrences during each quarter, such as how many points, rebounds, assists, blocks or steals a player will get before a certain time period.

“It was very encouraging to see the reaction and high usage rate during the game from our fans,” said New Orleans Pelicans President Dennis Lauscha. “Over the course of the game, there were over 10,000 predictions made and we saw an increase in predictions as the game went on. We are looking forward to working with Unblockable Inc. in the near future as we constantly look for ways to enhance our in-game entertainment for our fans.”

During the course of the game, fans playing the game had the opportunity to be chosen to win prizes including signed memorabilia, apparel items, and one lucky user was chosen to shoot a $25,000 half-court shot. NASSAU, Bahamas: The Islands of The Bahamas, which boasts of having the clearest waters in the world, is now the preferred destination partner of the New Orleans Pelicans, and fans will get a chance to win a free trip for two during Tuesday night’s game.

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism will host its signature Bahamas Theme Night during the anticipated matchup between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Portland Trail Blazers at the Smoothie King Center on March 14. NEW ORLEANS – Young Leadership Council (YLC) is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the New Orleans Pelicans as the 2015 title sponsor for the 16th annual YLC Wednesday at the Square concert series, which will run from March 11 to May 27 at Lafayette Square in the Central Business District.

“We are grateful for everything that Young Leadership Council does to make our community a better place,” said Tom Benson, Pelicans Owner and Chairman of the Board. “In addition to identifying, developing, and retaining young professionals in our region, they also are involved in numerous important charitable endeavors. On behalf of the Pelicans organization, we are happy for this opportunity to partner with Young Leadership Council for the concert series to showcase our city’s great musical and cultural traditions.”

For his own philanthropic efforts in the community, Mr. Benson was recognized by YLC as an honoree at the organization’s inaugural Role Model Awards Gala in 1987. In addition to producing a concert series attended by an average of 6,000 people each week, some of YLC’s historical achievements include raising $425,000 in 1989 to install and illuminate the bridge lights on the Crescent City Connection; launching the successful “Proud To Call It Home” civic pride campaign in 1994; and presenting two public art exhibits, “Festival of Fins” and “A Streetcar Named Inspire,” in 2000 and 2008, respectively. In 2014, YLC members logged more than 12,000 volunteer hours working on eight community service projects.

“Without our sponsors and the support of all those who attend the concert series, YLC volunteers would not be able to have as great an impact on the community as they do,” added Smith.
