NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has signed free agent forward/center Donatas Motiejunas (doh-NAH-tahs moe-tee-YOU-nus). Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Motiejunas, 7-0, 222, previously played for the Houston Rockets from 2012-16. In 214 career regular season games, the Lithuanian native holds averages of 7.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 19.0 minutes per game.
Motiejunas will wear number #12 for the Pelicans. New Orleans’ roster currently stands at 15.
