2)      New Orleans made a couple transactions yesterday, starting with picking up the fourth-year option on All-Star forward Anthony Davis, for the 2015-16 season.

3)      The Pelicans also requested waivers on Kevin Jones and D.J. Stephens, cutting the roster to 15 players.

4)      New Orleans begins the regular season at home Tuesday vs. Orlando. Tickets are available.

5)      The Pelicans wrapped up preseason at 5-2 after a Thursday win over Dallas.
