Five things to know about the Pelicans on Jan. 25, 2021

1)      New Orleans (5-10) hopes some home cooking will produce more wins this week, as the Pelicans begin a six-game homestand. The lengthy stretch in the Smoothie King Center features a Week 6 slate in Louisiana against San Antonio (9-8), Washington (3-9), Milwaukee (10-6) and Houston (6-9).

2)      Eight of the next nine New Orleans games are at home. The Pelicans have only played five home games, going 2-3, while notching a 3-7 mark on the road. The five home contests are tied with Dallas for the fewest played in the 30-team league.
