At the Smoothie King Center our goal is to deliver the ultimate fan experience for you every night. We have done our best to program this Center as the ultimate entertainment complex in Louisiana and the loudest in the NBA. We hope that you enjoy your experience watching the most talented athletes in the world.

This guide has been developed to highlight some of the features and services available to you while enjoying Pelicans games at the Smoothie King Center. If you need more information, you may visit Guest Relations located by section 108 on the main concourse at the Center. ADA Accessibility
The Smoothie King Center meets or exceeds all structural and service requirements as stipulated by the Americans with Disabilities Act. All levels have elevator access and ADA seating. Wheelchairs are available for patron use and are accessible from the North & East Ground Level entry points. A valid driver's license is required in exchange for a wheelchair. Wheelchairs are not reserved.

Alcoholic Beverages
Louisiana Law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. Proper identification must be shown to purchase any alcoholic beverage.

Capital One ATM Machines are located on the 100 Level Main concourse near Section 108, ground level near the Pelicans Nest and on 300 level near Section 302.

Bag Policy
Effective as of December 4, 2013, any bag, purse or briefcase that is larger than 14" x 14" x 6" will not be allowed into the Smoothie King Center. This policy will be strictly enforced, and the Smoothie King Center is unable to store oversized or prohibited items. An exception will be made for declared medically necessary items, after proper inspection.

Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to, the following: backpacks (of any size), cinch bags, oversized luggage and coolers. Click here to view other prohibited items

Banners, Signs & Balloons
Banners and signs are permitted in the Smoothie King Center provided they are not in poor taste, do not obstruct the view of any guest or stadium signage, nor present a safety hazard. Banners of a commercial nature are not permitted without a specific permit and/or permission of building management. Helium balloons may not be given inside the building unless authorized for permanent attachment for authorized displays.

Box Office Hours
The Smoothie King Center Box Office is located on the Ground Level of the Center off of Dave Dixon Drive. The Box Office is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Pelicans gamedays, the Box Office and Pelicans Will Call will open 1.5 hours before tip-off. The Box Office closes at halftime for all Pelicans home games.

Cameras/Recording Devices
Video cameras, digital cameras, and audio or video recorders of any kind are not permitted in the Smoothie King Center unless approved in advance by show or building management.

Children's Admission
Children two and under do not require a ticket for admission. However, in order for a child to have his or her own seat, a ticket is required.

Club Level
A Pelicans Club Seat in the Smoothie King Center is the region's most convenient and comfortable seating for NBA games. Offering first-class amenities, you will always have a premium sight line for viewing the action, along with membership to both the North and South Club Lounges. To top off this already terrific package, Club Members with multi-year contracts have the first option to purchase tickets to all publicly ticketed events via fax-back ticketing. Code of Conduct
The National Basketball Association, New Orleans Pelicans and the Smoothie King Center are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable sports and entertainment experience. We therefore ask you to refrain from any disruptive behavior, such as fighting, throwing objects, attempting to enter the court or interrupt play, or using improper language or gestures. Spectators engaging in such behavior are subject to ejection and arrest. Please report any violations of these rules to the nearest usher, security or guest services staff member. Thank you and enjoy the game.

Color Guard/Invocation
If you are interested in having your organization present the colors before a Pelicans home game, please contact the Game Presentation Coordinator at (504) 525-HOOP.

The Smoothie King Center offers a wide variety of food and beverage choices. Concession favorites such as popcorn, hotdogs and pretzels are offered along with a variety of other selections from specialty vendors. Donation Requests
Charities and organizations seeking support for an upcoming event or program should send a formal request to:

Or send fax requests to (504) 593-4207. The request must appear on official letterhead and be delivered at least six weeks prior to the event. Please include the date and purpose of the event, the 501c-3 tax number for the organization and a contact name, address, telephone number and email address. For more information, click here.

Doors Open
Center doors open one hour prior to tip-off, except for the East VIP Entrance, which opens 1.5 hours prior to tip-off. The East VIP Entrance may be used by Club, Suite and Floor seat ticket holders.

Directions To The Arena
From I-10, coming from the west and New Orleans Int'l Airport:
At the I-610 split, stay right to downtown New Orleans;
After the Carrolton Avenue/Airline Highway exit, take exit #234A "90 Claiborne Ave. west- Superdome"
Follow the signs to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome parking garages;

From I-10, coming from the east:
Follow I-10 westbound to downtown New Orleans;
Take the Orleans Avenue exit;
Turn left on Orleans and follow it across Canal Street where Orleans becomes Loyola Avenue;
Proceed to Girod Street;
Turn right and follow Girod to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

From the West Bank of the Mississippi River & the Greater New Orleans Bridge:
Take the O'Keefe Street exit;
Turn Left on Girod Street and follow Girod Street to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

From Interstates 55 and 59:
Proceed south to I-10;
Follow I-10 signs leading to downtown New Orleans;
Follow the above directions for I-10 coming from the east.

Emergency Exits
In the event of an emergency, please remain calm and WALK to the nearest exits, located at several points throughout the building. Please refer to the arena map for exact locations.

The Smoothie King Center has a total of eight (8) escalators.

Eviction Policy
The following behaviors or activities will result in eviction from the Smoothie King Center:
  • Use of profanity or unacceptable language of any type
  • Possession of illegal or unauthorized items inside the arena
  • Unacceptable dress
  • Public drunkenness
  • Entering or attempting to enter any off-limit area, such as the playing surface, backstage or restroom of the opposite sex
  • Participating in a fight or instigating a physical or verbal altercation
  • Verbally abusing, threatening, or intimidating other patrons or building employees
  • Throwing objects of any type at other patrons, employees or guests of the Smoothie King Center
  • Possession of stolen tickets
  • Possession of any unauthorized banner or sign

First Aid
Safety of all occupants of the Smoothie King Center is of primary concern. Any unsafe condition or activity should be immediately reported to Security or a Center employee for medical assistance. First Aid is located in Section 123 - located on the North 100 Level of the facility and Section 313. Contact: (504) 587-1931.

Group Tickets
Call the Pelicans before organizing your next group outing with your office, school, team, club or group of friends. Our Group Sales department will be happy to help you plan your event by providing ticket discounts, special seating arrangements, promotional materials, and personalized services at one of our games. To arrange for a group outing at a Pelicans game, please call (504) 525-HOOP or visit our group ticket page. Group ticket sales provide various payment options including American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash or check.

Guest Relations
Guest Relations desks, located by section 108 on the main concourse at the Smoothie King Center, which provide guests a convenient location to obtain information, voice concerns and request assistant during the game.

Lost & Found
During the game, you may inquire about lost and found items at any of the Guest Relations locations. For inquiries following an event, please call (504) 587-3663 during normal business hours.

Lost or Stolen Tickets
Lost or stolen tickets purchased through the Pelicans will be replaced with the proper documentation. Lost tickets may be replaced by written request by the person who originally purchased the tickets. Ticket holders must include exact seat location and account number when requesting replacement of a lost ticket. Stolen tickets that have been purchased through the Pelicans will be replaced upon submission of a police report detailing the theft.

Tickets that are purchased from any other outlet other than the Pelicans, must contact the point of purchase for replacement.

The Pelicans Shop, the Official Team Store of the New Orleans Pelicans, is located inside the Smoothie King Center with an entrance off of Dave Dixon Drive. The Pelicans Shopsells official Pelicans merchandise, including the same Nike gear worn by the Pelicans players. Store hours are as follows:

Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Closed Sunday, except for game nights

On game nights, the Team Shop will close 30 minutes prior to every Game Day Door Time. After this time, only ticketed guests may shop. Fans can also purchase merchandise online at The Pelicans Shop official online store www.pelicansteamstore.com

My Pelicans Account
Pelicans Season Ticket Holders can manage their account quickly and easily by logging onto their SeatGeek Account Manager. Once on the SeatGeek Account Manager page, enter your email and password. Forward your tickets to family, friends, co-workers and clients, make payments, check ticket usage, print tickets and update your account information.

Parking is available in Mercedes-Benz Superdome garages 1, 2, 5 and 6, as well as surrounding parking lots. All Mercedes-Benz Superdome parking garages for patrons open 3 hours prior to tip-off. Parking in garages 1, 2, 5 and 6 is $20.

The Pelicans and Center management offer the following advice for fans arriving close to game time to expedite the parking process in Mercedes-Benz Superdome garages:
  • Fans taking the Mercedes-Benz Superdome Exit off I-10 can park in both Garage #5 (facing Girod Street ) and Garage #6 (on the Poydras side of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome) and walk through Garage #5 to get to the Center.
  • Fans taking the Poydras Exit can park in Garage #1 (facing Poydras Street) or drive around to Garage #2A on LaSalle Street.
ADA Parking is available in Lots 1,2,5 and 6 - both on ground level and plaza level. Plaza level ADA parking allows convenient access to the Center's 100 level.

  • Large/oversized bags (size limit of 14" x 14" x 6"), backpacks or knapsacks
  • Laser pens or laser products of any kind
  • Flags/signs with poles
  • Fireworks
  • Noisemakers
  • Outside food or beverage
  • Oversized packages
  • Projectiles
  • Sticks, bats, poles or clubs
  • Video cameras, audio recording devices or professional cameras (cameras with lenses over 6 inches will be considered professional)
  • Weapons or contraband of any kind
  • Any other items determined as unacceptable by the Smoothie King Center
In the event that prohibited items are revealed during a search, patrons will be permitted to return to the items to their vehicle or dispose of them. The Smoothie King Center does not safeguard any personal belongings or items of any type.

For your safety, once a person exits the Smoothie King Center, re-entry is strictly prohibited.

The Smoothie King Center offers a total of 24 women's restrooms and 20 men's restrooms including three family restrooms. All restrooms include diaper-changing stations and are accessible to persons with disabilities.

Season Ticket Holder Services Booth
Our friendly and knowledgeable Account Executives are available to assist our Season Ticket Holders with any questions, comments or concerns. Hours of operations are from door opening until the end of the third quarter.

Scoreboard Messages
Guests can purchase a personal message to appear on the in-arena big screen. Each message can be up to 40 characters (including spaces and punctuation). For more information or to place your request, call a Pelicans Account Representative at (504) 525-HOOP. Requests must be received at least 72 hours in advance of the date of the announcement display.

Season Tickets
To purchase season tickets or to arrange for a group outing to a Pelicans game, please call (504) 525-HOOP or visit our online ticket page. Various payment options including American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash or check are accepted.

Sensory Inclusion
Guided by experts from KultureCity, the Smoothie King Center has implemented the following procedures, guidelines and opportunities to better serve guests with sensory sensitivities attending events:
  • DESIGNATED ENTRY GATES: Dedicated entry gates that are located around the Smoothie King Center are less crowded, noisy, and can be used by guests with sensory issues.
  • SENSORY BAGS: Guests may checkout Sensory Bags at no cost to utilize fidget toys, weighted lap pads, noise cancelling headphones and other resources during events. Sensory Bags are available at Guest Services booth located at section 108.
  • CONCESSIONS: Throughout the Smoothie King Center there are multiple concession stands designated for people with sensory issues. They are located at section 102 and section 331.
  • EXIT / RE-ENTRY: For guests with sensory sensitives who need a break, a breath of fresh air can make all the difference. The Smoothie King Center guest services and security staff will provide entry/re-entry at all major arena exits, allowing guests with sensory issues to step outside the arena and then re-enter, if needed.
  • DESIGNATED QUIET ROOMS: These rooms will provide a quiet and relaxing space for people with sensory issues. These rooms are located throughout the Smoothie King Center. For more information, please visit any Guest Services location.

The Smoothie King Center permits smoking on the exterior porches of the following areas only:
  • North 100 Level (across from section 101-102)
  • East 100 Level (across from section 108)

Will Call
Will Call is located in the Smoothie King Center Box Office lobby. Pelicans Will Call opens 1.5 hours before tip-off on gamedays. When visiting Will Call, be sure to have your photo ID and credit card in hand to expedite the pick-up process.
