The Indiana Pacers announced Friday night they have assigned 6-1 guard Joe Young to their affiliate in the NBA's Development League, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Young will join two Pacers teammates, Rakeem Christmas and Shayne Whittington, who are already on assignment with the Mad Ants.
Young has appeared in seven NBA games so far in his rookie season, averaging 1.3 points and 0.6 assists in 5.9 minutes per game.
