PSE's Erin Dlouhy Recognized as NBA's Best in Guest Experience

MIAMI – Erin Dlouhy, Senior Director of Guest and Culinary Experience for Pacers Sports & Entertainment, today received the Pete Winemiller Guest Experience Innovation Award at the National Basketball Associations annual sales and marketing meeting.

Dlouhy was chosen among nominees from all 30 teams by a committee of league and team executives.

The award, inspired by the late Pete Winemiller, Senior Vice President of Guest Relations for the Oklahoma City Thunder, honors an individual who has created an innovative service experience for fans. Dlouhy, who leads a guest service team of 250 full- and part-time employees, is responsible for overseeing all guest experience programs for PS&E. She also manages the team's relationship with the Disney Institute as part of the NBA's ELEVATE program, and her efforts have helped the Pacers maintain high overall guest satisfaction rates and 92 percent in season ticket member renewal rates.

"Erin has had an overwhelmingly positive impact on both our customers and our employees since the day she arrived," said PS&E President and COO Rick Fuson. "She is bright, innovative and always thinking about how we can create the best experience for all who come to Bankers Life Fieldhouse. We could not be prouder of her for receiving this richly deserved recognition."

Dlouhy joined PS&E in October of 2015 after working with the Walt Disney company in Orlando, Fla. She is a native Midwesterner who attended Illinois State University. In her time at Walt Disney, she held various roles including Resort Groups and Operations Management, Resort Inventory Management to ensure maximum guest satisfaction; and Catering and Convention Services Management where she oversaw events in partnership with sales, operations and various other departments.
