The annual program, part of the NBA Cares Season of Giving, is an exciting opportunity for PS&E to support thousands of Hoosier children and families during this very special time of year.

The following are the events and programs that will take place during the 2022 Season of Giving, Delivered by Papa Johns:

In celebration of its 25th year hosting this annual holiday tradition, PS&E will welcome 600 men, women, and children experiencing homelessness from Central Indiana shelters to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for a warm holiday meal. Tyrese Haliburton will serve as the official host of this year’s dinner, which is presented by US Foods and the Pacers Foundation. Levy Restaurants will prepare the meal and all leftover food will be donated to Second Helpings.

The meal will take place in the entry pavilion of Gainbridge Fieldhouse from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Pacers players, coaches, Alumni, Broadcasters, Fever players, local media, Pacers Sports & Entertainment staff, and event sponsors will assist in serving our special guests. Boomer, Freddy, and the Pacemates will also be on hand.

In addition to the food, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities which include interactive games, photo booth; balloon artists; face painters; caricaturists and more. When the guests leave Gainbridge Fieldhouse, they will all receive a Holiday Pack which includes a variety of cold-weather items including a Pacers knit hat, Indiana Fever ear band, gloves, blankets, towels and more!

The Pacers have teamed with Dream Alive, Inc. to host a Dream Christmas for area children. DREAM Christmas is a special holiday community service event that equips DREAM Alive (DA) scholars to provide a “Christmas" for children and families in need across Indianapolis.

DREAM Alive’s 7th through 12th grade scholars serve as official hosts by welcoming children and their families. In addition to hosting the families on the celebration event, each scholar is paired with a child in need, and they spend the month of November budgeting, shopping, and wrapping presents for this child. Think “Secret Santa.”

Pacers mascot Boomer, Indiana Fever player Destanni Henderson, and members of the Indiana Pacemates will be on hand to celebrate with the students, hand out presents and provide other special prizes and surprises!

December 9 and December 18, 2022

The Pacers have teamed up with the Indianapolis Fire Department to host Fill the Bell on December 9 and December 18, prior to each home game

Fill the Bell helps to fund the next year’s Clothe-A-Child event, by providing IFD firefighters "standing at the bell". The IFD would like community members to stop by and say hello to IFD firefighters and help next year's children with your spare change.

Each year, as part of the IFD Clothe-A-Child program, children in need of assistance are assigned an IFD firefighter who helps them shop for a warm coat, clothes for school and new shoes for winter. They, along with their families, eat breakfast together (cooked by the firefighters), shop for clothes and get to meet Santa.

December 10, 12, and 14, 2022

The Pacers have teamed up with the Salvation Army to host their Red Kettle Christmas Campaign at Pacers home games on December 10, 12, and 14.

Fans are encouraged to donate their spare change at these iconic kettles stationed at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, with all proceeds to benefit the Wheeler Mission Center for Women & Children and The Salvation Army Corps Community Center - Eagle Creek.

In addition, members of the Pacers Connection, Boomer, and the Indiana Pacemates will visit the Julian Center for a holiday celebration, complete with treats, crafts, and cookie decorating and will distribute the wish-list gifts!
