Chris Duarte Named to NBA All-Rookie Second Team

Indianapolis, IN – The NBA announced today that Indiana Pacers guard Chris Duarte was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. He is the first Pacers rookie to be selected to the All-Rookie team since Pacers center Myles Turner was named to the All-Rookie 2nd Team in 2016.

Duarte appeared in 55 games this season and averaged 13.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.0 steals in 28.0 minutes per game. His 94 three-pointers made ranked 8th most among rookies, while his 268 field goals made ranked 10th.  Additionally, he averaged 17.7 points per game in the month of October.  

Duarte is joined on the NBA All-Rookie Second Team by Herb Jones, Josh Giddey, Ayo Dosunmu, and Bones Hyland.
