What do you enjoy most about performing?
What I enjoy the most about performing is getting to show the audience a performance they'll want to remember. Getting to show them the talent and respect I have for dance is a joy, and I always hope they see it when I perform.

What is your dancing background?
I've been dancing ever since I was four, but competitively for 12 years. I'm trained in all styles, but hip-hop and jazz are my favorites. Along with being a competitive dancer, I'm also part of a hip-hop crew called iPUSH. This past year, I toured with a convention called Hollywood Connection where I was on their Teen Company and assisted all of the faculty.

Outside of dancing, what are your hobbies and interests?
In high school, I was part of a group called the Delaware County P.R.I.D.E. Team who went around to elementary schools in our area and taught the kids about the abuse of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco and how they don't need those things in their life. For fun, one of my hobbies is doing photography for my friends and family.

What's one interesting fact about you?
One interesting fact about me is that I'm half Japanese and half American.

What is the best thing about Indiana fans?
The best thing about Indiana fans is that they're very dedicated and loyal to their teams and show their love and support at every game.

If you could be a backup dancer for one musical artist, who would it be and why?
I'd would like to be a backup dancer for Usher because not only do I admire his dancing, but I grew up listening to his music and think it would be a great opportunity to learn from him and the other dancers.
