1st Season

  • Hometown: Fishers, IN
  • Occupation: Dance teacher/student at IUPUI

What do you enjoy most about performing?
After taking a year off from Pacemates to focus on my education, I’ve never realized more how much I love to perform. I missed it so much! The adrenaline rush, being able to show your passion of dance to thousands of people and above all, performing with all of your teammates, is a feeling you can never forget!

What is your dancing background?
I grew up dancing at the G. Scotten Talent Center. I danced there from ages 2-18. I competed for 10 years and traveled the U.S. on the Tremaine Performance Company for four years. After high school, I went straight to Pacemates and was a part of the team for three seasons (2015-2018). Now, I teach tap, ballet, hip hop and jazz at G. Scotten Talent Center.

Outside of dancing, what are your hobbies and interests?
I love to go to the movie theater! I saw Black Panther 4 times in the theater alone. Also, I love dogs! I’ve been blessed to be able to take care of some friends’ dogs while they were on vacation, and I couldn’t enjoy it more!

What's one interesting fact about you?
One interesting fact about me is that I am not naturally a red head. I had blonde hair when I first tried out for the Pacemates. Not even the first day on the team, I was asked to dye my hair red, and I couldn’t love it more!

What is the best thing about Indiana fans?
Indiana basketball fans are the best because this is what Indiana is all about. We are a family in Indiana! We support one another and treat each other as brothers and sisters.

If you could be a backup dancer for one musical artist, who would it be and why?
I would love to backup dance for Michael Jackson! His passion was like no other, and I would love to have been able to perform alongside him.
