DENVER, Jan. 7, 2015 – The Denver Nuggets have traded center Timofey Mozgov along with a 2015 second round pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for two protected 2015 first round picks (via Oklahoma City and Memphis), general manager and executive vice president of basketball operations Tim Connelly announced today.
Mozgov, obtained from the New York Knicks on February 22, 2011, has appeared in 35 games this season (all starts), averaging 8.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.17 blocks in 25.6 minutes.
In 213 games over five seasons with Denver, Mozgov posted averages of 6.8 points, 5.2 rebounds in 17.8 minutes.
