Pre-Draft Workout: June 17

The Denver Nuggets will conduct a pre-draft workout with four players on Friday, June 17. This will be the 12th workout that has been held at Pepsi Center.

Ryan Arcidiacono, a 6’3” senior guard from Villanova, appeared in 144 games for the Wildcats and helped lead them to a 117-27 record in his time there. Arcidiacono ranks fourth all-time in assists at Villanova and also became the first player in school history to score 1,500 or more points (1,604) and dish 500 or more assists (535). He was also named Most Outstanding at the NCAA Final Four after scoring 16 points in the championship game and leading Villanova to the school’s second national title.

Isaia Cordinier, a 6’5” guard from France, averaged 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in 23.4 points for Denain in Pro B. Cordinier played in the Nike Hoop Summit in April, posting eight points, five rebounds, and one assist in 21 minutes.

Petr Cornelie, a 6’11” forward from France, played 39 games in the French league and averaged 8.8 points and 5.1 rebounds. Cornelie also averaged 39.3% from three-point range. Additionally, he played for France at the 2015 U20 European Championships in Italy, the 2013 U18 European Championships in Latvia, and the 2012 U17 World Championships in Lithuania.

Majok Deng, a 6’10” senior forward from Louisiana-Monroe, was a 2015-16 All-Conference First-Team selection and was also the Sun Belt Conference scoring champion, averaging 19.0 points per game. Deng finished first in blocks (1.9), third in offensive rebounds (5.3), and sixth in three-pointers (2.3). He is fourth all-time in blocks (101) at Louisiana-Monroe.

The Nuggets currently hold five selections in the 2016 NBA Draft, including the seventh, 15th and 19th overall picks.
