Denver Nuggets Announce Slushii as Second Mile High City Night Act

DENVER—The Denver Nuggets in partnership with Live Nation are excited to announce their second Mile High City act for the 2019-20 season as they bring in electronic dance music artist Slushii to headline their game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, Nov. 8, tipoff is set for 7 p.m. MST. Following the success of the opening night performance by Adventure Club, this will be the second of six Mile High City nights featuring halftime performances that the Nuggets will roll out this season.

In just three years since he emerged on the scene, Slushii has brought his vibrant, textured sonics to five continents and countless countries, with three headlining tours already under his belt. Massive collaborations and remixes co-signed by the likes of Marshmello, Charlie Puth, BTS, and more, make Slushii a dominating force in the digital streaming landscape, as he continues to flex his ultra-versatile production capabilities with everything from poolside pop to punishing dubstep products. Touted as the next generation’s torch-carrier by the likes of Tiesto, Steve Aoki, and Skrillex, Slushii has kicked off 2019 with his first ever pop crossover track ‘Never Let You Go’ featuring Latin pop star Sofia Reyes released on Big Beat/Atlantic Records.

Launched last year, Mile High City nights feature live halftime performances by major musical acts and DJ’s. The six nights (all Friday home games) for the upcoming season coincide with the nights the team will wear their Statement Edition “Mile High City” uniforms.

The full list of Mile High City Nights are as follows: 10/25, 11/8, 11/22, 12/20, 3/27 and 4/3. Subsequent acts will be announced on a rolling basis.
