On September 7, the Denver Nuggets will be hosting a 3v3 basketball tournament just outside of Pepsi Center. This will be the inaugural 3v3 tournament for the Nuggets, which will include at least four games for each registered team.

SuperMascot Rocky and the Denver Nuggets Dancers will also be in attendance during the event. In addition to playing in the tournament, all registered players will receive a ticket to a Nuggets’ 2019-20 regular season game and a 3v3 reversible jersey.

This marks the inaugural 3v3 basketball tournament put on by the Nuggets, with UCHealth serving as the presenting sponsor.

“UCHealth is dedicated to helping people live extraordinary lives — which includes the pursuit of staying well as well as getting well,” said UCHealth’s Dr. Jason Dragoo, the new head orthopedic physician for the Nuggets. “It is a priority for UCHealth to support initiatives that promote healthy living, wellness and fitness. Whether someone is a professional athlete, plays in a recreational league, or is just looking for a pick-up game, basketball is something that can be enjoyed throughout one’s life. We are so proud to be a part of this fun, active event with the Nuggets that also encourages teamwork and community.”

The event will provide fans with an opportunity to showcase their basketball skills while competing against other squads within their respective division. Furthermore, fans may also have a chance to play against a team comprised of some of Altitude’s on-air talent, as well as the Nuggets’ PR staff.

Each team will play three games followed by a single-elimination tournament. All teams are allowed up to five players and are guaranteed at least four scheduled games. The deadline to register is September 3rd at 11:59 p.m. MT.
