The Nuggets Academy is celebrating Jr. NBA Week by hosting a limited capacity, in-person, 7–14-year-old All-Girls clinic. JR NBA week is a time where the NBA, its teams and players join the entire youth basketball community in celebrating the positive impact our sport has on the development of young people on and off the court. These clinics are an exclusive opportunity for girl youth basketball players to expand on their craft with drills and activities that professionals use to remain at the top of their game. Terms and Conditions

The health and safety of our guests, staff and athletes is always our top priority. As we return to play, it is important we all do our part. Let’s keep each other safe and healthy.

  

By registering for the clinic, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions referred to herein, including compliance with the Nuggets Academy's and the facility’s health and safety policies, the mask policy, and cancellation policy. These policies are subject to change without notice.

  

Health & Safety Protocols

The health and safety of our guests, staff and athletes is always our top priority while hosting Nuggets Academy events.  Health and safety protocols will be in place during the clinic.  The protocols follow guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the State of Colorado, the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment, and the Tri-County Health Department.  These health and safety protocols will be modified based on evolving standards, as well as public health and governmental directives.

Mask Policy

Based upon recommendations of the Tri-county Health Department for individuals to wear masks in school and childcare settings and CDC recommendations to wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission, regardless of vaccination status, every guest over two years old MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES, except during times of active eating and drinking. Guests or athletes who fail to comply with the mask requirement will not be permitted to enter the facility or will be asked to leave the facility.

All staff, participants, and guests in the gym are required to wear masks upon entry, during play, and departing the facility. For more information on what types of face coverings are acceptable, please reference our Nuggets FAQ guide.  Participants are required to bring their own water bottles and masks.

Assumption of Risk

COVID-19 IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND CONTAGIOUS DISEASE THAT CAN LEAD TO SEVERE ILLNESS AND DEATH. BY REGISTERING FOR THE CLINIC AND ENTERING THE FACILITY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE (1) TO ASSUME ALL RISKS RELATED TO EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 AND ALL STRAINS, MUTATIONS, AND VARIATIONS THEREOF, WHETHER KNOWN NOW OR IN THE FUTURE, BY VIRTUE OF YOUR OR YOUR CHILD’S PRESENCE AT THE FACILITY AND (2) TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS REFERRED TO HEREIN, INCLUDING COMPLIANCE WITH NUGGETS ACADEMY’S AND THE FACILITY’S HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICIES. THESE POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.

Waiver and Release

Parents/legal guardians will be required to sign and return a completed waiver and release before their child can participate in the clinic.

Know Before you Go

Prior to the clinic, please review our terms and conditions and follow our Clinic Check list. This information will be provided to participants in the “Know Before You Go” Clinic email the day prior to the event. It can also be found at Nuggets.com/youth.

Cancellation Policy

If at any time before checking in for the clinic you wish to cancel your participation, you will receive a refund for your registration if you have previously communicated and coordinated with the Nuggets Academy Staff. No refunds will be issued for no-shows without previous communication to Basketball Academy staff.

In accordance with the Tri-county Health Department’s guidelines and CDC recommendations, will require all personnel, participants, and guests are required to wear masks when entering the facility, during playing play, and leaving the facility.

Currently, the Arapahoe county is at level clear, meaning businesses, schools, restaurants, and other facilities are open at 100 percent capacity with no further restrictions beyond any state requirements or state public health orders in effect. If at any time the Arapahoe county COVID dial moves out of clear and into green, blue, or yellow, the Nuggets Academy will modify or restructure the event to fit adhere to applicable guidelines. If at any time the Arapahoe County COVID dial moves into orange, red, or purple, the Nuggets Academy will postpone or cancel the event until it is deemed safe to return to play. The Nuggets Academy reserves the right at all times to reschedule, postpone or cancel the clinic in order to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local government guidelines, restrictions, recommendations, orders, or mandates respecting COVID-19.
