The uniform combines the team’s first two uniforms (worn from 1970-75) along with modern design accents and vintage coloring.
The “Rip City” mantra was first uttered by radio broadcaster Bill Schonely during the Blazers’ inaugural season. Since then, the phrase has represented the Blazers, their fans and the entire region.
The uniforms will make their on-court debut on Nov. 27 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
