Jokic was named the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Month for games played in January, averaging 26.6 points, 13.2 rebounds and 9.0 assists in the Nuggets’ 16 games played during the month.
The Jazz snapped their 5-game losing streak, despite being shorthanded without star guard Donovan Mitchell (concussion protocols), center Rudy Gobert (calf strain) and Joe Ingles, who suffered a season-ending injury in Utah’s matchup against Minnesota on Jan. 30.
