LeBron James and Kevin Durant are the only active NBA players with 14 or more All-Star appearances.
Along with passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record (38,387) in February 2023 to become the NBA’s most dominant scorer of all-time, LeBron James also edged Abdul-Jabbar to attain the most All-Star appearances by an NBA player with 20 in Feb. 2024.
Members of this elite group are also enshrined with statues across NBA Arenas, such as Michael Jordan at Chicago’s United Center, Karl Malone at Utah’s Vivint Arena and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.
Going into the 2024-25 season, James and fellow Paris Olympics teammate Kevin Durant are the only active NBA players with a spot in the exclusive club. Chris Paul follows the duo with 12 All-Star appearances, with Stephen Curry and James Harden each at 10.
