Clutch City: Zan Tabak

Zan Tabak logged just 31 playoff minutes during the Rockets' run to the 1994 NBA title.

"Clutch City" will air at 9 p.m. ET Monday, June 8, on NBA TV. Produced by the Sports Emmy Award-winning NBA TV Originals, "Clutch City" examines the Houston Rockets' 1993-94 and 1994-95 NBA Championship teams.

These are the then-and-now stories of some of the standout players from those teams:

Name: Zan Tabak

Position: Center

Stats in 1994-95 season: 2.0 ppg, 0.1 apg, 1.5 rpg, 0.1 spg

His part in Clutch City: The native of Split, Croatia, was drafted in the second round (No. 51 overall) by the Rockets in 1991, but did not sign with the team until 1994. The 7-footer was a third-string backup to Hakeem Olajuwon and logged just 31 minutes in the 1994 playoffs.

After Clutch City: Tabak was taken by Toronto the 1995 expansion draft and went on to play five more NBA seasons with the Raptors, Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers. He became the first international player to reach The Finals with two different teams when Indiana lost to the Lakers in 2000. He is currently an assistant coach with Real Madrid in the Spanish League.
