Cleveland Cavaliers guard George Hill still has a chance at playing in Game 5 of the team’s first-round series against the Indiana Pacers.
According to Cavs coach Tyronn Lue, Hill remains questionable for Game 5 tomorrow (7 p.m. ET, TNT) after going through some of the team’s practice on Tuesday. Here’s more from ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, via Twitter, on Hill’s status:
Tyronn Lue says that George Hill (back) remains questionable for Game 5. Hill was able to go through some shooting drills at Tuesday’s practice. If Hill plays at all, he will start rather than come off the bench, according to Lue.
Veteran guard Jose Calderon was the Cavs’ starter in Sunday’s Game 4, which Cleveland won 104-100. Hill missed Game 4 because of back spasms, which were the result of a back injury he aggravated late in Friday’s 92-90 loss to the Pacers in Game 3.
Calderon scored five points in 13-plus minutes in the Cavs’ Game 2 victory but did not play in Game 3. In Game 4, Calderon had five points in 19 minutes.
