Brooklyn Nets Community Holiday Parties
The Nets and partners welcomed their neighbors to Barclays Center during the holiday season
Along with a series of events in the community, the Brooklyn Nets and their partners invited their neighbors to Barclays Center to celebrate the holiday season at several events in the arena. Here’s a quick look at the festivities from Barclays Center with special guests.
BROOKLYN NETS COMMUNITY HOLIDAY PARTY
On Dec. 2, the Brooklyn Nets’ Rodions Kurucs was joined by the voice of the Nets Olivier Sedra, the Brooklynettes and Team Hype to host 100 kids at Barclays Center, where they did face-painting, arts and crafts and games in the atrium, in addition to shooting hoops on the arena’s Practice Court.
LEVY COMMUNITY HOLIDAY DINNER
On Dec. 19, Nets Legend Albert King was on hand as the Nets’ Barclays Center restaurant partner, Levy, hosted a dinner for 150 neighbors from the Brooklyn community in the arena’s Qatar Airways Club.
GAMEDAY COMMUNITY PARTY
With the Nets hosting the Knicks on Dec. 26, 40 kids from the Brooklyn Navy Yard Boys & Girls Club and the Department of Homeless Services visited Barclays Center for a pregame party on the Suite Level. The kids joined the Nets and Knicks on the court before the game, where each received a gift, then they returned to the Suite Level to enjoy the game.
