After beating the Orlando Magic on Monday at Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Nets returned to practice at the PNY Center in East Rutherford, N.J. Coach P.J. Carlesimo, Joe Johnson and MarShon Brooks discussed the team's Wednesday matchup with Miami, the opening of a three-game stretch that also includes the Bulls and Lakers.

The Nets, 17-0 against teams with sub-.500 records, can go a long way toward proving they belong to be considered among the league's elite teams.

"We think that regardless of what anyone else says," Johnson said. "We feel like we’re a pretty good team. We’ve had glimpses of showing we can be one of the best teams in this league. We just have to find our niche and find out who we want to be. I think we’ll be alright."

Deron Williams (flu-like symptoms) did not participate Tuesday. He'll be re-evaluated tomorrow before the game.
