More about Dr. Martin O’Malley:

Dr. Martin O'Malley has served as an associate team physician and foot and ankle consultant to the Brooklyn Nets for the past 8 years. He is an Associate Attending Surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Associate Professor of Orthopedics at Weil/Cornell Medical School. Dr O'Malley specializes in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle with special emphasis on sports medicine of the foot and ankle In addition, he is a foot and ankle consultant to many NBA teams and has operated on over 20 current NBA players. Dr. O'Malley has authored over 75 research publications and book chapters and is a an invited speaker on foot and ankle injuries in athletes at national and international orthopedic meetings.


More about Dr. Riley J. Williams III:

Dr. Riley J. Williams III is a specialist in the field of shoulder, knee and elbow surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Williams holds a dual appointment in both the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, as a full-time member of the Sports Medicine & Shoulder Service, and as a Clinician-Scientist in the Research Division. He is also an Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Williams attended college at Yale University and the Stanford University School of Medicine. His clinical and research interests include: cartilage repair and transplantation, arthroscopic shoulder repair (rotator cuff tears, labrum tears), arthroscopic shoulder stabilization, anterior cruciate and posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, and elbow ligament reconstruction. Dr. Williams is the Director of the Institute for Cartilage Repair at Hospital for Special Surgery.

Dr. Williams has worked with the Brooklyn Nets for many years. In addition, he is the head team physician for the New York Red Bulls professional soccer team, and the Iona College Department of Athletics. He has also served as Associate Team Physician for both the New York Mets professional baseball team and the New York Giants professional football team. Dr. Williams is an active member of the New York Road Runners Club.
