Adam Harrington is in third season with the Nets as assistant coach and director of player development. Prior to arriving in Brooklyn, Harrington served as a shooting coach with the Oklahoma City Thunder during the 2014-15 season. He also founded With Purpose Training, working with NBA and NCAA players.

The Bernardston, Mass., native began his collegiate career at North Carolina State University, ending the season as the first freshman in school history to lead the team in scoring, while earning ACC All-Freshman Team honors. Harrington transferred to Auburn following his freshman season, spending two years with the Tigers before embarking on an eight-year (2002-10) pro career that included stints with the Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets during the 2002-03 NBA season. Harrington also spent time with teams in the NBA G League, China, Spain, Israel, Germany, Croatia, France and Poland.

Harrington is the founder, vice president and director of the JEHH Memorial Fund, which assists families, individuals and organizations to help their children achieve their dreams. Harrington and his wife, Kearstin, have three sons, Jaxon, Jayden and Jonah, and a daughter, Jill.
