NETSTEM Scholar of the Month

Infor and the Brooklyn Nets have teamed up to provide two online based STEM courses to middle schools and high schools located throughout Brooklyn. The courses, Endeavor and STEM of Basketball, are designed by EVERFI to inspire STEM career exploration through topics such as: Big Data and the Internet of Things; Future of Manufacturing and Design; The Algorithms Behind Recommendations; and of course, The STEM of Basketball.

NETSTEM Scholar of the Month

Each month, one student participating in NETSTEM is rewarded with the opportunity to attend a Brooklyn Nets home game alongside a mentor from Infor. The group receives the opportunity to attend pre-game shootaround courtside, snap a photo with a Nets player and also take a behind-the-scenes tour of Barclays Center with a focus on STEM related careers throughout the venue. The goal of the evening is to open the student’s mind to all of the exciting career possibilities in STEM and beyond.
