The Brooklyn Nets (“Nets”) provides short message service (SMS) updates, mobile alerts and mobile call to action campaigns (collectively, “Nets Mobile”). Please read these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) prior to using the Nets Mobile service. By using Nets Mobile, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, our privacy policy, the NBA Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Use as described below. These Terms and Conditions apply to all Nets Mobile text message alerts, regardless of opt-in keyword or messaging program. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use Nets Mobile. Also note that to process your requests for this Service, you may be charged a fee to send and receive messages based on the terms of your wireless service. Message and data rates may apply. Check your wireless service provider if you have questions about your service plan.

Privacy Policy
The Nets respect your privacy. We will only use information you provide to Nets Mobile to transmit your text message or as otherwise described in this document. Nonetheless, we reserve the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property. Sharing excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
The Nets will handle your personal information in accordance with the NBA privacy policy (available at https://www.nba.com/privacy-policy).
Terms of Use
Text messages sent by the Nets via Nets Mobile are “Mobile Services” pursuant to the NBA Terms of Use and are subject to the provisions contained in such Terms of Use (available at https://www.nba.com/termsofuse) (the “NBA Terms of Use”), including the arbitration provision set forth in Section 17 therein.
Pursuant to the NBA Terms of Use, when you complete forms online or otherwise provide us information in connection with Nets Mobile, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and true information. You agree not to use a false or misleading name or a name that you are not authorized to use. If we, in our sole discretion, believe that any such information is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, we may refuse you access to Nets Mobile and pursue any appropriate legal remedies.
Nets Mobile Alerts
- Text the word NETS to 46256 to sign up for Nets Mobile alerts at any time.
- Text the word STOP to 46256 to cancel the Nets Mobile alerts at any time.
- Text the word HELP to 46256 for help at any time.
By texting the word NETS to 46256, you agree to receive Nets Mobile alerts and promotional messages from the Nets. Message frequency may vary.
Network
Nets Mobile works with but is not limited to the following carriers: AT&T, Sprint, Boost, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Cellular One, MetroPCS, and T-Mobile. Consult with your carrier to see if it participates in a particular text message program. Nets Mobile content is not compatible with all mobile phone models.
Nets Mobile will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any text messages or changes to participating carriers, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your carrier with active participation at any time. Nets Mobile is also not liable for any undelivered messages.
Messaging Costs
You are responsible for any fees assessed by your wireless telephone carrier to Nets Mobile, including any data plan charges, text messaging charges, tolls, out-of-area roaming, or other telephone connection charges. Message and data rates may apply.

Who Can Receive Text Messages?
By signing up to receive texts, you represent that you are 13 years of age or older and, if you are under the age of 18, you either are an emancipated minor or have obtained the legal consent of your parent, legal guardian or account holder to sign up for text messages and to fulfill the obligations and agree to the terms set forth in these Terms and Conditions (and the NBA Terms of Use), which form a binding agreement between you and us. You further represent that you are the subscriber of the cellular service at the mobile number provided or that you are authorized by the subscriber to sign-up for texts.
As of July 1, 2021, due to a newly effective Florida law, users with Florida area codes are not eligible to receive text messages from Nets Mobile.
How do I Stop or Cancel the Text Messages?
You can cancel your receipt of Nets Mobile alerts by texting the word STOP to 46256. After doing so, you will receive confirmation of your opt-out via text message.
How Many Text Messages Will I Receive?
When you sign up to receive Nets Mobile alerts, we will send you a message to confirm your signup. Unless and until you opt-out of the Nets Mobile alerts, you should expect to receive up to four (4) Nets Mobile alerts per week related to game alerts, real-time voting, ticket offers, and team store discounts.
How Are the Text Messages Sent?
Nets Mobile or its vendor may use autodialer or non-autodialer technology to send the text messages described above to the mobile phone number you supply when you request to receive the text messages.
