In recognition of Black History Month, the Nets will donate $250 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation for every assist registered by the Nets in February 2020.

The Brooklyn Nets and the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) are partnering again to battle prostate cancer and bring awareness to fans with the Black History Month Assist Challenge. Throughout the month of February, for every assist registered by the Nets, the Nets Foundation will donate $250 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
A man of African descent is 76% more likely to develop prostate cancer than a Caucasian man.
A man of African descent is 2.2 times more likely to die from prostate cancer.
The U.S. death rate from prostate cancer has dropped by more than 50% since 1993.
