NBA Parlay for Monday, March 7th, 2022

Both the Heat and the Suns extended their leads in their respective conference over the weekend, as things just got tighter at the bottom of the standings. In the East, three games sit tied for the 8th seed, as things are almost just as close in the bottom of the West.

Let’s take a look at a few games tonight that could shake up the standings even further.

Leg #1. Pistons +7.5 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

Long at the bottom of the standings to start the season, the Pistons have come out of the All-Star break with a renewed focus and have now quietly covered seven straight games (4-2 SU). Winning their last two outright, the last time we saw them on the court was a 111-106 home win over the Pacers on Friday night in a strong defensive effort.

For the visiting Hawks, they’re one of those three teams tied for the 8th seed in the East as of tonight and come into this game having won three of their past four. While scoring hasn’t been an issue, they’ve allowed 119 points per game over their past two and need to buckle down on defense if they want to truly make a run in the playoffs. In this game, I look for Saddiq Bey to get his against the Hawks and for the Pistons to once again keep this game close enough to cover.

Leg #2. Bulls +7 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

James Harden is expected to return to the lineup tonight for the 76ers after missing Saturday’s game at Miami due to rest. In their first loss since February 15th, the 76ers hung tough late but didn’t have enough offensive firepower losing 82-99 to the conference-leading Heat.

For the Bulls, a four-game slide has left them 3.5 games back from those Heat they were recently within a game of, as the need for a win becomes more desperate by the game. Despite being banged up and still trying to transition Tristan Thompson into the lineup, I think we see a complete effort from Chicago tonight, and they do enough to be in contention to win this game late.

Leg #3. Trail Blazers +14.5 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

While the Timberwolves have been one of the hottest teams in the league since the restart winning five of six (5-1 ATS), this is a massive number to be laying. In what will be a rematch of a game Saturday also here in Minnesota, the Trail Blazers led by one at the half before fading late while Karl-Anthony Towns went off for 36 points and 15 rebounds.

Scoring less than 96 points in three straight before Saturday’s meeting, things started to click for this new-look Portland team, but they couldn’t get the stops they needed late. I like for them to get some of those stops in this one and keep it under double digits before it’s all said and done.

Total Odds: +595 at DK Sportsbook
