The Orlando Magic will host the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night at the Amway Center with tipoff set for 7:00 PM ET. In their first game since the All-Star break the Magic hope to continue their winning ways. Despite entering the break with a loss at Toronto, they had won four of their last six. Orlando is in 13th place in the Eastern Conference but is only four games behind Toronto for the 10th-place spot that qualifies for the postseason play-in round. The Pistons exit the break with the worst record in the Eastern Conference at 15-44 and have lost five of their past six games.

Magic vs Pistons Best Bets
Magic -6.5 (-110 DraftKings)
Whether the Pistons are actively tanking in order to land the top pick in the draft for the second time in three years is a definite possibility, the honest truth is that ever since their best player, Cade Cunningham was lost for the season with an injury, they have been the worst team in the league. They’ve won one game in the month of February and the trade of Saddiq Bey has only made them worse in the short-term. While the Magic have an uphill climb to get back into the playoff picture, they are clearly the better team and should come out motivated after the rest they had over the break.

Magic vs Pistons Game Over 228 Points (-110 DraftKings)
In keeping with the “bad team” theme, the Pistons rank as the second-worst defensive team in the league. In road games, the average point total is 230. With the Magic having some offensive firepower in the form of Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Wendell Carter Jr., I expect a free-wheeling run-and-gun type of game out of the break and see this total going over the total number.
