Celtics vs. Warriors Game 3: Top NBA Finals Prop Odds & Picks for Wednesday, June 8 (2022)

The highly anticipated Game 3 of the NBA Finals will be tipping off tonight, Wednesday, June 8, at 9 p.m. ET. The Celtics and Warriors are tied up at one in the series, but with the Celtics at home for the next two games, Boston is currently the favorite to win the NBA Championship at DraftKings.

In this article, I won’t be predicting the winner of tonight’s game. Instead, I’m going to be looking for a few player props to attack for tonight’s game. Here are my three favorite player props for tonight’s game.

Celtics vs. Warriors: Jayson Tatum Over 3.5 Three-pointers

Jayson Tatum took nine threes in Game 2 and nailed six of them. That was basically the only positive for Tatum in Game 2 after he finished with a game-worst -36 in the game. He’s going to have to adjust his play, and the Celtics are going to have to find ways to get Tatum more involved without forcing the issue.

The Celtics need Tatum’s A-game if they’re going to win the NBA Finals. They’re going to find ways to get him open, and when he’s open from downtown, he’s been money all postseason.

In the Eastern Conference Finals, Tatum took 7.3 attempts per game from downtown, and now he’s averaging seven threes over the first two games of the NBA Finals. The volume will be there. It’s just about getting him better looks.

Bet: Jayson Tatum Over 3.5 Three-pointers (+110 via FanDuel)

Celtics vs. Warriors: Grant Williams Over 5.5 Points

The Celtics are the deepest team in the NBA. You can thank guys like Grant Williams. He averaged 7.8 points per game during the regular season and has had some big games in the postseason where he’s come up clutch.

In the first two games of the NBA Finals, Williams has been an absolute non-factor. He’s wasting his energy on defending Draymond Green.

But the reality is, the ball is going to find the hoop as long as Williams is in for 20 or more minutes in this game. In Game 7 against Miami, Williams played 30 minutes and scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Lately, he’s not getting the minutes with Derrick White getting extended time, but Williams could hit just two threes in tonight’s game and end up winning this wager.

Bet: Grant Williams Over 5.5 Points (-130 via FanDuel)

Celtics vs. Warriors: Klay Thompson Over 18.5 Points

Klay Thompson hasn’t been very good to start the NBA Finals. In the NBA Finals, Thompson has gone 4-for-15 from downtown and 10-for-33 from the field.

However, the volume is there for Thompson, and we clearly know what he’s capable of. To close out Dallas, Thompson added 32 points on 16 three-point attempts. He averaged over 35 minutes a game against Dallas and has added 32 minutes per game against the Celtics in the NBA Finals.

I like Thompson to finally figure things out offensively tonight. The Warriors need Thompson to wake up if they’re going to win a game or two on the road.

Bet: Klay Thompson Over 18.5 Points (-118 via FanDuel)
