The Slam Dunk Contest had gotten a bit stale in the late 90s and it needed something (or someone) to revive it. The solution turned out to be rather simple; put the game’s most electrifying dunker of all time in the competition. VC was spectacular during 2000 All-Star Saturday Night in Oakland, effortlessly throwing down jaw-dropping, never-before-seen dunks. While they were all sensational, perhaps the most impressive of his collection of jams was when he was able to stick half his arm through the hoop after a dunk.
