#10 Rudy Gobert
It was tough to decide who deserved to sit in the 10th spot. The primary candidates included Andre Drummond, Nikola Vucevic, Roy Hibbert, Andrew Bynum, Brook Lopez, Tyson Chandler, DeAndre Jordan and Gobert. At the end of the analysis, the decision to go with Gobert was made because of how great of an accomplishment it is to win back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year Awards, even if he has yet to be named an All-Star. Chandler was also a DPOY once. Bynum was a key piece on the Lakers’ 2010 title team. Vucevic and Lopez have been two of the best offensive centers the last several years. Drummond, a two-time All-Star, has led the NBA in total rebounds the last four seasons, while Hibbert was vital for the Pacers when they went to the conference finals in back-to-back years.
