Tied #10 Tristan Thompson
Although the Cavs are just 4-8 – not a surprise considering they are rebuilding for the future – their starting lineup has been solid. Collin Sexton, as expected, has made a jump from his rookie year, Kevin Love looks fresh and Thompson has been much more than just a great offensive rebounder, which is what he was most known for when Cleveland was competing for titles with LeBron James. Through his first 12 games, the 28-year-old is averaging career highs in just about every category, including points, rebounds, blocks and steals.
Other players deserving at least a mention on this list are Houston’s Clint Capela, Indiana’s Myles Turner, Chicago’s Wendell Carter Jr., the L.A. Lakers’ Dwight Howard, Washington's Thomas Bryant, Memphis' Jonas Valanciunas, Milwaukee's Brook Lopez, New York's Mitchell Robinson and Portland’s Hassan Whiteside.
