#10 Brook Lopez

Opponents shot 41.8 percent from the field before the hiatus when Lopez was the closest defender, second best behind Rudy Gobert among all regular starting centers. Milwaukee’s 7-foot, 282-pounder recorded the second most blocks as well. Only Hassan Whiteside had more. The Bucks had the league’s best defensive rating and held opponents to a league-low 38.8 points in the paint per game.

Players not on this list that deserve consideration include the Lakers' LeBron James, Miami's Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, Denver's Gary Harris, Boston's Jayson Tatum, Orlando's Aaron Gordon, Milwaukee's Eric Bledsoe, the Clippers' Patrick Beverley and Houston's P.J. Tucker.
