Tied #10 Evan Fournier
When Fournier plays well, the Magic as a team usually do as well. In games in which the 6-foot-7 Frenchman has scored 19 points or more, Orlando is 7-5. When he has scored under 19, they are 2-6 and in the 14 games he didn’t play in because of back spasms, the Magic went 3-11. One of the craftiest offensive players in the league, Fournier is currently averaging 18.5 points, matching his career high from last season, while dishing out a career-best 3.8 assists per game. His defense has improved this year as well. Magic Head Coach Steve Clifford relies on him to try and slow down many of their opponents’ best scorers, and the 28-year-old has held his own against several of them.
