#2 Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Pistons
We knew Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had scoring in his basketball DNA. It just took a little over a year for it to be identified. KCP was a man on a mission all week, averaging 24 points in the five games played. Relentless in his quest to get to the rim and reliable from long distance, KCP carried the Pistons to three straight wins to open up Summer League. If not for a dud in the finale, he would have likely been the MVP. Nonetheless, new head coach Stan Van Gundy must be ecstatic about Caldwell-Pope’s potential as a steadfast scorer on the wing.
