#6 Artis Gilmore
Gilmore began his professional career in the ABA where he played five seasons for the Kentucky Colonels. He was so good from the start that he was named Rookie of the Year and ABA MVP in his first season. Gilmore transitioned to the NBA in 1976 when he joined the Bulls. In Chicago and then later on in San Antonio, the Chipley, Fla. native was incredibly efficient, leading the league in field goal percentage in four straight seasons. He also was named an NBA All-Star six times throughout his career.
