Ranking Early 2019 First Time NBA All-Star Candidates
#8 Josh Richardson
Arguably the early favorite for the Most Improved Player Award – although Zach LaVine, Tim Hardaway Jr., Buddy Hield and Caris LeVert (before injury) are all deserving too – Richardson has been sensational to start the season. He has already scored over 30 twice and is shooting a shade over 45 percent from 3-point range. The Heat getting off to a sluggish start, though, may limit how much attention he gets from the coaches unless, of course, Miami starts hitting its stride sooner rather than later.
