thumbnail-image: #9 March 6, 1998 vs. Cavaliers Anderson scored 25 points and banked in a game-tying 3-pointer with 3.6 seconds left in regulation as the Magic won in overtime over the Cavs.
thumbnail-image: #8 Feb. 26, 1993 at Bullets Anderson banked in a game-winning shot with 1.8 seconds remaining in the Magic’s thrilling victory over the Bullets in the nation’s capital.
thumbnail-image: #7 Nov. 9, 1994 at Hornets On the same night Shaquille O’Neal posted 46 points and 20 rebounds, Anderson made a game-winning floater with 1.1 seconds left in overtime to propel the Magic to a win over the Hornets.
thumbnail-image: #6 Nov. 6, 1992 vs. Heat In one of the greatest opening night performances in Magic history, Anderson exploded for 42 points in Orlando’s victory over Miami. The Magic’s 6-foot-6 shooting guard filled up the rest of the stat sheet, too, with eight rebounds, six assists and five steals.
thumbnail-image: #5 Jan. 24, 1992 vs. Mavs The one triple-double Anderson had in his career came against the Mavs when he tallied 32 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in a Magic victory.
thumbnail-image: #4 May 18, 1995 at Bulls Anderson buried two clutch shots down the stretch in Orlando’s Game 6 come-from-behind win over Chicago in the 1995 Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Magic closed the game on a 14-0 run.
thumbnail-image: #3 Feb. 22, 1998 vs. Lakers In Shaquille O’Neal’s first game in Orlando after signing with the Lakers a year-and-a-half earlier, the 7-foot-1 center’s former teammate, Anderson, scored 30 points and drilled a go-ahead 3-pointer with 7.1 seconds left to lift the Magic to a memorable win.
thumbnail-image: #2 May 7, 1995 vs. Bulls With the Magic down one in the final seconds of Game 1 of the 1995 Eastern Conference Semifinals, Anderson chased down Michael Jordan and swiped the ball away from the Bulls’ superstar, which led to a go-ahead fast break dunk by Horace Grant with 6.2 seconds remaining. The Magic’s first ever draft pick scored 20 points that night as well.
thumbnail-image: #1 April 23, 1993 at Nets Anderson, who was questionable to play that night with a strained hamstring, came off the bench and racked up 50 points on 17-of-25 shooting from the field in just 33 minutes at New Jersey. That was the first time a reserve had ever scored at least 50 in an NBA game. Jamal Crawford, while playing for the Suns, became the second player to do it when he amassed 51 points in a 2019 game against the Mavs.
