1991: Orlando acquired San Antonio’s first round draft pick in a trade made one year earlier as part of a deal that sent Sidney Green to the Spurs and Mark McNamara to the Magic. With this 23rd overall pick, the Magic selected Stanley Roberts.

1993: In a draft night deal, Orlando acquired Penny Hardaway and three future first round picks (1996, 1998, 2000) from Golden State in exchange for Chris Webber. The Magic would ultimately trade the 1996 pick they received from the Warriors to the Bullets as part of the Scott Skiles deal in 1994. And ironically, the pick at No. 11 overall, Todd Fuller, would land in Golden State as a result of a deal the Warriors and Bullets agreed to. Orlando also ended up trading the 1998 pick, Keon Clark, they received from the Warriors along with Johnny Taylor on draft night to Denver for a 2000 first round draft pick.

1993: Orlando acquired New York’s first round draft pick in a trade made one year earlier as part of a three-team deal that sent Mark Jackson and Stanley Roberts to the Clippers, Charles Smith to the Knicks and two future first round picks to the Magic. With New York’s 26th overall pick, the Magic selected Geert Hammink.

1994: As part of the same deal (three-team trade involving the Magic, Knicks and Clippers), Orlando landed L.A.’s first round draft pick and chose Brooks Thompson with the 27th overall selection.

1998: Orlando acquired New Jersey’s first round pick in a trade made earlier that year as part of a deal that sent Rony Seikaly and Brian Evans to the Nets and David Benoit, Yinka Dare and Kevin Edwards to the Magic. With New Jersey’s 15th overall pick, Orlando chose Matt Harpring.

2000: As part of the Chris Webber and Penny Hardaway swap, Orlando landed Golden State’s first round pick in 2000. And with the fifth overall pick, the Magic selected Mike Miller.

2000: Orlando acquired Denver’s first round pick as part of the deal that sent Keon Clark and Johnny Taylor to the Nuggets. With Denver’s 10th overall pick, the Magic selected Keyon Dooling.

2001: Orlando acquired Houston’s first round pick as part of a convoluted three-team swap involving a collection of draft picks. With Houston’s 22nd overall pick, Orlando selected Jerryl Sasser.

2002: Orlando acquired the draft rights to Ryan Humphrey (19th overall pick) and Jamal Sampson from Utah in exchange for Curtis Borchardt.

2004: Orlando acquired the draft rights to Jameer Nelson (20th overall pick) from Denver in exchange for a 2005 first round pick.

2014: Orlando acquired the draft rights to Elfrid Payton (10th overall pick) from Philadelphia in exchange for the draft rights to Dario Saric (12th overall pick) and a 2015 second round pick. The Magic had gotten the 12th overall pick as part of the three-team trade in 2012 involving Dwight Howard.
