Cohen's Analysis: It seems like there are a million elite point guards these days and every second there is a different opinion on who actually is the best.
On Monday, it may be Rajon Rondo, on Tuesday it swings to Chris Paul, on Wednesday Tony Parker reclaims the honorable label, on Thursday suddenly Kyrie Irving is the favorite, etc. etc.
But in three years, it wouldn’t shock me if the unanimous choice for best point guard is Damian Lillard, who is enjoying a sensational rookie season.
Lillard has adapted to the pros as well as anyone ever has and his ability to do pretty much anything will allow him to surpass all the other great floor generals circulating around the league.
