Through the MagicFit school fitness program, the Orlando Magic 5k, neighborhood court refurbishments, and many other efforts, we're partnering together to make a difference in our hometown.

Her Time To Play

The WNBA and NBA recognize the valuable role sports can play in the development of young girls and the advancement of women as leaders in society. Her Time To Play is a national initiative that is dedicated to championing change on behalf of girls and women.

The platform’s free curriculum pairs on-court training with off-court life skills lessons to build girls’ confidence, prepare them for the challenges of adolescence and teach values like teamwork. The Magic and AdventHealth have partnered on a number of local clinics and panels to bring this opportunity to young girls in our community.

ORLANDO - Research proves that students who exercise regularly often get better grades than those who don’t. A 2008 study from the American College of Sports Medicine, for instance, found that middle school students who performed the best academically also performed the best on fitness tests. There have been many more studies conducted since then with similar findings.
