It was a grinding matchup with their Staples Center co-tenants, but the Lakers were able to capture their fourth straight win behind some clutch play from Kobe Bryant.

The 25-year-old scored 10 of his 27 points in the final four minutes to lead the Lakers past the Clippers, 106-100.

All five starting Lakers finished with double-digit scoring, but Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal (18 points, 10 rebounds, six assists) lead the way.

Bryant also added seven rebounds and five steals to help his team, which shot 50.6 percent from the field.

Meanwhile, the Clippers were powered by a 31-point night from Corey Maggette, who shot just 7-of-21 from the field, but hit 17-of-20 free throws.

The Clippers brought their deficit down to 98-96 with 1:29 left, but Bryant then hit a layup and pair of free throws to push his team toward the win.
