To this day, it was the greatest 3-point shooting night in league history.

Kobe Bryant went without a triple in the first quarter, but he somehow managed to hit a league-record dozen 3’s by the time the buzzer sounded on the Lakers’ 119-98 win over Seattle.

“It’s hard to describe,” Bryant told reporters. “You just feel so confident. You get your feet set and get a good look at the basket — it’s going in. Even the ones I missed I thought were going in.”

Bryant hadn’t hit more than five 3-pointers in a game in his career until that point, but he knocked down 12 of his 18 attempts from deep — all from the top of the arc.

Bryant scored 45 points in 37 minutes, at one point sinking nine consecutive triples.

“That was perhaps the greatest streak shooting I have ever seen in my life,” head coach Phil Jackson said.

Bryant shot 16-of-28 overall, while the Lakers hit 55.8 percent of their shots in the runaway victory.
