2016 Player Capsule: Ryan Kelly

By the Numbers
1: Three-pointer made in Ryan Kelly's last 22 attempts.
7: Games played for the Los Angeles D-Fenders, for whom he provided 27.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game.
470: Minutes played for the Lakers, down 763 from the previous season.

Season Summary
It was a season-long slump for Kelly, who shot just 36.9 percent (55-of-149) from the field and 13.5 percent (5-of-37) on 3-pointers. Kelly also went without a triple over the last three months of the season. Despite often having to play out of position at small forward, he did show solid mid-range touch and, in the preseason, even threw down a game-winning dunk in the final seconds against Portland.

In His Own Words
"Obviously we all felt I didn't shoot the ball consistently well, specifically from 3. But I'll also agree that I didn't get a lot of consistent minutes this year and was kind of thrust in between positions a little bit. But one thing I've always focused on doing in my time with the Lakers is trying to be the first one in the gym and the last one to leave."
