Paul George grew up in Palmdale as a Kobe Bryant fan, and his childhood idol had something special for him after the two went head-to-head for the final time on Monday.
The retiring Bryant met George in the Indiana Pacers' locker room and presented him with a pair of his shoes as a parting gift.
George isn't the first to receive the gift of shoes from Bryant this year, as fellow All-Stars Draymond Green and Kevin Durant also had similar experiences. Bryant signed a pair of Green's kicks after facing Golden State on Jan. 14, and he and Durant exchanged sneakers following the Lakers' bout with Oklahoma City on Dec. 23.
