Hi Lakers Fans!
My name is Sarah and this is my first year as a Los Angeles Laker Girl! The past few months since auditions have flown by and I am still in awe that I have been given the opportunity to be a part of the Lakers organization and cheer on such an incredible team in the NBA. I hope that all of you Lakers Fans are all enjoying the start of the season as much as we are!

With Regular Season games in full swing, I had the chance to experience my first Friday Night Live Event. This event took place across the street from STAPLES Center before the game against San Antonio earlier this month. We met some amazing fans from all over the world, and I’m sure that all of the girls will agree that we were ready to step on the court with full Lakers spirit after the event! The Friday Night Live event nights are so exhilarating because we come straight from the event to the start of the game to cheer on the Lakers! One of my favorite parts is when the “I love LA” song comes on, where all of our amazing fans help us get the arena ready for the game to begin!
As many of you know, the Laker Girls also take part in much more throughout the community than cheering on the team at the games. I always look forward to my weekends, which consist of attending events in support of the many wonderful charitable organizations throughout LA. This month, we had an amazing time supporting the Lakers Youth Foundation at their Basketball Clinic, and it was so fun to see some of our youngest fans working on their technique & skills on the court! I made sure to stop by Carl’s Jr. for a delicious Channel Islands Roasting Company Coffee and Hash Brown Nuggets before the event to have enough energy to keep up! As November is National Diabetes Month, we have had the opportunity to take part in some great events that supported this cause. All of the events are so unique and it is truly incredible to take part in every single one. We love to come out to support and meet everyone attending!
Were any of you at the game against Minnesota on Sunday the 10th....if so, how cool are the Lakers dog tags that were handed out in honor of our Veterans Day? This game is one that I will always remember and was really special to have been a part of. At halftime we honored some incredible Veterans that have served our country, and got to take part in presenting them all with personalized Lakers jerseys as well. It is special events like these that touch our hearts and make us feel so lucky to be part of this organization.
Thank you for all of the continued support, I am so looking forward the rest of the season! We are so excited to cheer on the Lakers with all of you wonderful fans and look forward to taking part in more wonderful events throughout the year.
