Hoops for Troops

The Lakers and Pechanga Resort Casino created the “Hoops for Troops” program in 2015 to honor those that serve and sacrifice for our country.

These clinics invite US Armed Forces’ service members around Southern California to play on the Lakers home court at Crypto.com Arena, receive tips from Lakers legends on shooting, passing, ball-handling, and participate in a little friendly competition.

Active Military Members Experience the Lakers Through Hoops for Troops Program
We spent the end of October and beginning of November honoring our troops from Southern California with the Lakers annual Hoops for Troops program. The Lakers partnered with Pechanga Resort and Casino to give back to those that serve and protect our country with three basketball clinics hosted by Lakers Trainers, and Lakers Legend, A.C. Green.
