Mission Statement

Our mission is to create and maintain job opportunities for persons with disabilities in order that they develop, express, and apply their talents through their work and in their communities.

Project Description

“Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up.
Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” - Michael Jordan.

This is our inspiration for the Youth Program! LAHH wants to help 16 young men, ages 16-21 not to stop in front of their difficulties. LAHH will help young men at risk of living on public assistance and experiencing isolation because of having a disability such as ADD, ADHD, mild intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, a/o autism. With the Youth Program we are offering continuing professional education as custodian specialists and physical activities. LAHH requests funding to organize a Youth Program Bowling Tournament for the 16 young adults, coaching them before games and presenting awards at the ceremony.
